The cold weather is starting. Soon snow will be on the ground. For those of use who like to exercise outdoors, the challenge of keeping up an exercise program during the cold, wintry months can be really hard. But, heading into the holiday season with sweets and huge meals is no time to give up. Keeping up the exercise program through the Holidays means planning ahead for exercise time, having the right clothing to work out outside, and maybe, just maybe, watching what we eat so that we don’t have to exercise just to lose those holiday pounds. The internet offers plenty of suggestions for how to make winter exercising easier. One site suggests that if you exercise outside in the mornings and find it hard to get out of your warm bed, just put the work out clothes in the dryer for a few minutes to make them toasty!
